Description
Keeper's Cottage is a detached cottage from the mid-19th century. It features dressed stone walls, a moulded cornice, and a crenellated parapet. The roof is hipped and covered with clay tiles, with stone stacks at each end of the ridge. The building has two and a half storeys, with south-facing windows that include two-light windows with Y-tracery in a pointed head. Each window has single glass panes and one small iron casement. There are three gabled half-dormers; the outer ones are blind and have the same tracery design, while the central half-dormer is glazed. Tall finials with crosses adorn the corners of the parapets and the gabled dormers. The cottage has three doors located on the left, centre, and right. The left door is a plank-and-muntin door with strap-hinges from the 19th century, while the centre and right doors are 20th-century two-leaf doors with glazing bars, featuring the Y-tracery motif in their heads.
