Description
Rose Cottage is a detached cottage built in the late 19th century. It features rubble-stone walls and a slate roof with stone gable copings and a steep pitch. There is a stone stack on the left-hand gable, topped with brick. The cottage has one and a half storeys, with one window and one door. The windows have straight-chamfered stone mullions and cast-iron casements that display a lozenge pattern of glazing bars, each with separate labels above. The ground floor has a three-light window, while the upper floor features a two-light window set within a gabled half dormer. The door, located on the right side, is a plank-and-muntin style with moulded stone jambs and a separate label above. At the rear, there is a pentice-roofed outshut.
