Description

The Rectory House is a former Rectory, now a private dwelling, dated 1866, as indicated by a cusped lozenge panel. It is constructed of dressed stone walls with ashlar stone quoins, featuring a chamfered stone plinth. The roof is slate, with gable ends, and includes a brick stack behind the ridge on the left side.

The house is 1 1/2 storeys high with three windows. The windows have ovolo-moulded stone mullions and stone labels above the ground floor and the central first-floor window. The metal casements contain rectangular leaded lights. A wide, central bay projects forward and is gabled. There are four 3-light windows on the ground floor. The first floor has 2-, 3-, and 2-light windows, with the outer windows being gabled half-dormers. The front door is centrally located and is a 6-panelled door with an integral fanlight, though the door itself is a 20th-century replacement. Two 19th-century rear wings are present, with 20th-century infill in between.
