Description
Tudor Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the 17th century, with some modifications. It is constructed from local stone that is cut and squared, and roughly coursed, with Ham stone dressings. The roof is double Roman clay tiles with plain gables, and there are brick chimney stacks at both ends and in the middle, with one stack rendered. The cottage has two storeys and three bays. There is a small buttress in the center and a plinth under bays three and four. The windows are ovolo mullioned, with separate square labels, and all are three-light except for the lower bay one, which is four-light. The lower bay two is blank. The windows feature metal casements with diamond leaded panes. To the left of bay one, there is a boarded door set in a deep recess, accessed by three steps and topped with a concrete lintel. To the right of this door is a small two-light ovolo window made from different stone. The west gable has 20th-century windows. The interior has not been seen.
