Description

  1. 5193 PAMPHILL COWGROVE ROAD (South Side) No 588 (The Green) ST 90 SE 3/83 21.12.82 II GV 2. Late C17 early C17. Timber-framed walls with brick infil, thatched roof, brick stack. One storey and attic. Lean-to extension on south-west has brick walls. Part plastered, under thatched catslide hipped roof. Front elevation has, on ground floor, three casement windows with glazing bars. Attic has one similar window under eaves. Entrance in rear wall. Part-glazed door under modern hood. Ground floor has three casement windows with glazing bars. Attic has two dormers with casements with lead lights, these appear modern. Some chamfered ceiling beams. This house may be of open-hall origin. RCHM Monument 63.
