Description
The Nook Cottage is a late 17th-century house that has undergone significant alterations. It is timber-framed and has a roughcast exterior with a thatched roof. The house is of two and a half storeys. The central entrance has a timber door with small side lights, and there are 20th-century timber casement windows flanking the entrance and three gabled dormers, each separately thatched and containing 20th-century timber casements. An external stack with a broad base is on the left gable wall, and a one-storey bay window is on the right gable wall. The house has been extended to the rear right. The interior has been altered, and the collar beam roof retains a replaced curving timber lintel over the fireplace.
