Description

The granary and barn located west of Firs Farmhouse date from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The granary is timber-framed and weather-boarded, standing on staddle stones, although it is now partly covered in corrugated iron. It has a roof made of corrugated asbestos. The large barn to the west of the granary features walls that are a mix of brick, weather-boarding, and corrugated iron. The barn originally had a thatched roof, which has been replaced with corrugated asbestos on the west side. This building is included for its group value.
