Description
Higher Dairy House is a 17th-century building located on Cowgrove Road in Pamphill. The structure features brick walls up to the first floor, with timber framing above that includes brick infill. It has a thatched roof and a brick chimney. The house is one storey high with attics. There is an extension at the east end, which was formerly a dairy and cheese loft; this extension has cob walls up to the first floor and is weather-boarded above, also topped with a thatched roof. The main entrance is a central panelled door located under a timber gabled hood. The ground floor includes three casement windows with glazing bars, while the attic features three dormers with similar casements.
