Description

Number 14 is an early 19th-century house in a row. It has a rendered facade and a slate mansard roof. The house is two storeys and has an attic, with a single window visible from the front. A deep, eight, twelve, and eight-pane sash bowed oriel window is located above a fanlight with radial bars, and is topped by a dentil cornice. Behind a parapet is a raking dormer window with four panes. A modified six-panel door is to the left, beneath the fanlight. A ridge stack is present. The property features cast-iron spearhead railings that run across the full width of the front and return at both ends, supported by six standards with scroll bases and urn finials. An urn-crowned gate is positioned opposite the doorway, and the railings are set against a low stone plinth. The property is set back from the adjacent Number 13. The interior has not been inspected.
