Description

Drury's, including the pump at the rear, is a large house in a terrace, likely built in the early 19th century. It features rubble stone walls, a slate roof, and brick end stacks, standing two storeys tall. At the left end, there is a carriage entrance leading to a rear courtyard. The main house has a central raised panel door, with two sash windows featuring glazing bars on the ground floor, set under flat arches. The first floor has four similar windows. There is an added wing at the rear, with lower walls made of stone and upper walls of brick, also topped with a slate roof. Attached to this wing is a wood-cased pump with a lead spout. Surrounding the rear courtyard are a range of former stables, some of which have been converted to residential use, although these are not of special interest.
