Description

Hollands Shop is a house that also serves as a shop, dating from the early 17th century. It features plastered walls and a stone slate roof, with a diagonally set brick stack located at the right end. The building is one storey high with an attic. The shop front, which projects, was added in the 19th to early 20th century and includes timber framing and a fascia. The attic contains three gabled dormers with sash windows that have vertical glazing bars. Inside the shop, there is a large open fireplace with a moulded stone four-centred arch, which has been altered to create a doorway. Additionally, some of the ceiling beams are chamfered. This property is owned by the National Trust.
