Description

This is a cottage situated within a terrace in West Street, Corfe Castle. It dates to the late 17th and early 18th centuries, and has been altered in the 20th century. The cottage is constructed of rubble stone walls with a stone slate roof. It is one storey in height with an attic. The ground floor features triple glazed doors on the left-hand side and, to the right of these, a recessed porch with a glazed door and a four-centred arched opening. All of these ground floor features are 20th-century additions. The attic has two hipped dormers, each with casement windows containing glazing bars. There is a rear wing constructed in matching materials. The building is included on the list for its group value.
