Description
This is a small cottage located on the west side of West Street in Corfe Castle. It dates to the 17th century and was originally listed as part of "Fairhaven and shop adjoining Fox Inn on South." The cottage has rubble stone walls and a roof covered in stone slates. A brick stack is located at the right end of the building. The layout is of one storey with an attic. A ledged door provides access to the front. The ground floor has one casement window with a central horizontal glazing bar. The attic has a hipped dormer window with a similar casement. A rear wing, constructed of matching materials, was formerly a bakery. The cottage is now owned by the National Trust.
