Description

The Fox Inn is a small inn dating from the 18th century, situated in a terrace on West Street in Corfe Castle. It features rubble stone walls and a stone slate roof, with brick stacks located at the rear. The building stands two storeys high and has a ledged door that leads to a passage at the rear, along with a panelled door that provides access to the inn itself. Between these doors is a three-light shop-type window with ornamental arched lights. On the first floor, there are two casement windows with fanlights. At the rear, there are added wings that match the original construction and are accessible from the passage.
