Description

Nos. 4 and 6 West Street are a pair of cottages in a terrace, likely built in the mid-19th century. They feature rubble stone walls and stone slate roofs, with a central stone chimney stack. The cottages are one storey with attics. No. 4 has a ledged door with a fanlight, while No. 6 has a 20th-century flush door. Each cottage has one ground floor casement window with glazing bars. In the attics, there is one gabled half-dormer with bargeboards and similar casement windows. These cottages are included for their group value and are a property of the National Trust.
