Description

Number 19 on Rax Lane is an 18th-century building that features an oriel window and a rear porch, which were added in the early 19th century. The exterior is rendered and the building stands two storeys high. The centre of the first floor on the roadside has an early 19th-century canted oriel window supported by fluted pilasters that lead up to a cornice, with sashes that include glazing bars. On either side of the oriel, there are two flush-framed cased sashes, also with glazing bars. The ground floor has a planked front door and modern windows. At the rear, there are three ranges of sashes with glazing bars, along with an early 19th-century pediment porch. Inside, the building features shutters and cupboards with fielded panelling.
