Description
Number 139 on Church Street is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys high with attics. The exterior is rendered and features a pantile roof. It has rusticated quoins and a dentil eaves cornice. The building includes one flat-topped dormer with modern glazing and a six-light window with modern casements. On the ground floor, there is a four-light window with a wooden lintel, and a four-panel door topped by a flat arch and a rectangular fanlight. The building also has a plinth.
Number 139 is part of a group that includes Nos 119 to 123A, the Board Inn, Nos 126 to 135, Nos 137 to 151, and Nos 153 to 157. Additionally, Nos 139 and 140 form a group with Nos 1 to 5 on Arguments Yard, Church Street.
