Description

No. 142 on Church Street is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys high and is constructed of brick. It features a parapet and a hipped roof covered with new pantiles. The two upper storeys are adorned with windows that have wooden mullions. The ground floor showcases two attractive bowed windows on either side of a central door, which is topped by a five-light rectangular fanlight. There is a plain door to the left of the central entrance. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 119 to 123A, the Board Inn, and Nos. 126 to 135, as well as Nos. 137 to 151 and Nos. 153 to 157 on the same street.
