Description
137 and 138 Church Street are 18th-century buildings that stand two storeys tall and are rendered with a pantile roof. No 137 features a 19th-century dormer and has a coved eaves cornice. Each building has one window on each storey; No 137 has a three-light window with glazing bars, while No 138 has a two-light casement window with later glazing bars and modern shutters. The ground floor of No 137 includes a modern door and a four-light modern casement window. No 138 has a half-glazed door with a small rectangular fanlight above it, and an old bow window sits over a glazed basement window, with a band continuing at the top of the bow.
