Description

The former stables to the Royal Oak Public House date from the 18th century and are constructed of rubble with some modern red brick. The building has a pitched slate roof and consists of one storey and an attic. It features planked doors at the carriage entrance, which include spur stones, as well as one planked loft door and another planked door that has decorative patterns cut into it for ventilation. The stables are part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 7 (odd) on North Street.
