Description
Lodge Cottage is a detached house dating from the 18th century, with a 20th-century extension at the right end. The building features brick walls and a tiled roof with coped gables, along with brick end stacks on the original section. It stands two storeys high and has a plat band at the first-floor level. The entrance includes a 20th-century oak part-glazed door set within a 20th-century brick porch that has a gabled roof. On the ground floor, there are four casement windows with horizontal glazing bars, each positioned under segmental arches. The first floor has five similar casement windows. The extension at the right end is constructed to match the original building and includes one matching window on each floor. Inside, the main room at the left end features a large open fireplace with a timber lintel.
