Description

This is a detached cottage, likely built in the early 19th century. It features a pebble-dashed exterior, probably over cob, set on a brick plinth, with brick dressings. The roof is thatched and has a half hip to the right, with a brick chimney stack on the left side. The cottage has one and a half storeys and a two-window range, with two-light timber casements that include horizontal glazing bars. There is a central plank door. This cottage is one of the very few remaining unspoilt examples that were created as a result of encroachment on common land during the 18th and 19th centuries.
