Description
Paradise House is a detached house that was formerly a farmhouse, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It features brick walls topped with a dentil cornice and a tiled roof that has stone eaves courses and externally projecting brick end stacks. The building is two storeys high with an attic and has a plat band at the first-floor level. The entrance includes a raised panel door located in a porch with a gabled roof. On the ground floor, there are four cross-pattern casements with glazing bars, while the first floor has five similar windows. The attic contains three hipped dormers with casements that have a centre horizontal glazing bar. Inside, the main ground floor rooms are equipped with fireplaces featuring elliptical brick arches, and there is a closed string stair with splat balusters.
