Description

Hart's Cottage is a detached house originally built in the 18th century, with a large enlargement added in the late 20th century on the left side. The original section features brick walls, a thatched roof, and a brick chimney at the right end. The cottage is one storey high with an attic. There is a part-glazed ledged door beneath a slate gabled hood supported by brackets. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows with horizontal glazing bars. The attic includes three dormers, each with similar casement windows. The large 20th-century wing is positioned at right angles to the original cottage.
