Description

Baker's Cottage is a detached cottage likely dating from the 18th century. It is characterised by cob walls, with the front facade recently refaced in brick, and a thatched roof, half-hipped at the right-hand end. The building has two brick stacks: one at the left end and another centrally. The cottage is one storey high with an attic. A battened door is set within a brick porch featuring a gabled tiled roof. The ground floor has four casement windows with glazing bars, all set beneath segmental arches. A dormer window in the attic mirrors the style of the casement windows. A section at the left-hand end of the cottage may represent a later addition.
