Description
Huish Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the early 17th century. It features plastered cob walls that have been repaired, with the left gable wall rebuilt in brick. The roof is thatched and has a half-hipped design. There are brick stacks, one located at the right end and another near the center of the building. The cottage has one storey and an attic. The entrance includes a ledged door with a glass panel, set within a 20th-century timber porch that has a tiled roof. On the ground floor, there are three casement windows with cast iron lights, while the attic contains four dormers with similar windows. Additionally, there is a recent single-storey lean-to at the rear, and some deep chamfered ceiling beams can be found inside.
