Description
The monument to Thomas King is located in the churchyard, 1 meter north of the chancel of the Church of Saint Mary in Winterborne Zelston. This headstone, dated 1794, commemorates Thomas King and Mary Castleman. It features a twin-shaped top, with the left section displaying a carved urn draped with fabric, while the right section showcases an obelisk flanked by urns. The lettering on the monument is well-executed.
