Description

The King memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 8 meters north of the tower of the Church of St. Mary. It dates from around 1797 and is made of marlstone. The tomb has a rectangular shape with a moulded base and cover, featuring square corner balusters and shallow inscription panels. The inscriptions on the panels and the cover commemorate John King, who died in 1797, along with other members of the same family.
