Description

The bridge over the River Winterborne, located 60 meters south-west of the Parish Church in Winterborne Zelston, is a road bridge likely built in the 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a parapet that curves outward at each end, topped with stone copings. The bridge has two openings with elliptical arches and stone cutwaters. This structure is a well-maintained example of modest bridges that serve as important features in the heart of the settlement.
