Description
The King monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 13 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St. Margaret of Antioch. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a moulded plinth on a flat base, with two fielded panels on the main sides and one on the ends. It has fielded central and corner pilasters, a fluted frieze adorned with rosettes, and a moulded flat top. The monument commemorates Augustine King, who died in 1796.
