Description

The King memorial, located approximately 10 metres north of the Church of St. Mary, is a chest tomb dating from around 1809. It is made of limestone and features a rectangular shape with a moulded base and cover, along with rectangular corner balusters. The ends of the tomb are adorned with Grecian vases in shallow relief. Inscription panels on the tomb commemorate John King, who died in 1809, and his wife Mary, who died in 1819.
