Description

The Old Farmhouse is a detached house with origins dating back to the late 17th century, which was enlarged in the 18th and 20th centuries. The building features brick walls that are partly tile-hung, with hipped tiled roofs and stone eaves courses, along with brick stacks. It has an L-shaped plan, with the east wing from the 17th century showcasing a 20th-century entrance door within an open porch. The ground floor includes two casement windows with glazing bars, while the first floor has one similar window. The north elevation displays a large projecting stack from the 18th-century section, along with more casement windows featuring glazing bars. There are 20th-century extensions to the south that are designed in a traditional style.
