Description

No. 58 Elwell Street is a house located at the end of a row, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of rubble with a slate roof and features two storeys and two windows. The windows are 16-pane sashes set within flat haunched brick arches and brick jambs, with stone sills. There is a central porch with a pent roof added in the late 20th century, which has a glazed door. The roof is flat-pitched with deep eaves, and there is a brick stack on the left side. The return gable is rendered and extends to a low two-storey wing that has two-light small-pane casements, along with an additional hipped unit covered with slate. The property was rendered at the time of its former listing. The interior has not been inspected.
