Description

42 and 44 Elwell Street is a pair of mid-19th century houses located in Weymouth. They are built from rubble with brick dressings and feature a slate roof. The houses are symmetrical and consist of two storeys with one window each, all set beneath segmental brick heads and with stone sills. No. 42 has 16-pane sash windows, while No. 44 has 4-pane windows. The entrance to No. 42 features a replica 6-panel door, and No. 44 has a glazed door. A large square central brick ridge stack is present on the roof. The interior has not been inspected.
