Description

80 and 82 High Street are a pair of houses built in the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed from squared coursed limestone rubble with an ashlar plinth, featuring brick gable stacks and a stone slate roof. The houses have a double-depth plan with a rear outshut and each stands three storeys tall, with a one-window range. The paired inner doorways have segmental-arched heads and panelled doors, while there are small flat-headed windows beneath the eaves. No. 80 retains original 8/8-pane sash windows and a second-floor casement, whereas No. 82 features horned sashes with margin bars. The interior has not been inspected.
