Description
A pair of early 17th-century houses, now combined into a single dwelling, are located on the south side of High Street, Malmesbury. The construction uses limestone rubble with a central brick ridge stack and a stone slate roof. The houses follow a single-depth, two-room plan. They are two storeys high and have a two-window facade. A doorway is positioned slightly left of centre, featuring a boarded door. Late 19th-century horned 2/2-pane sash windows are present on the ground floor, along with timber lintels above two windows to the right and a wide, flagged through-passage to the left. There is a blocked window between the two altered first-floor windows, and a blocked doorway is situated to the right. A 20th-century rear extension has been added. The interior has not been inspected.
