Description

This is a house located at 83 High Street in Malmesbury, dating from the early 19th century. It is built from limestone rubble with brick dressings and features gable stacks, topped with a pantile roof. The house has a single-depth plan and consists of two storeys and a basement, with a one-window range. The front includes a left-hand six-panel door that has a segmental-arched brick head, with the top pair of panels glazed. There are 8/8-pane sash windows, and a timber lintel above the basement opening in the plinth. At the rear, there is a gabled one-window range constructed from coursed rubble, which includes casement windows and a small attic window, along with a lateral stack. The interior has not been inspected.
