Description
Morden Park Cottages, known as the Shooting Box, is a detached cottage built in the late 18th century, with later enlargements in the 19th and 20th centuries. The original section is square in plan and features brick walls, with the front wall plastered and a dentil cornice at the eaves. It has a pyramidal hipped tiled roof with stone eaves courses and stands two storeys tall. Each floor has a Venetian window with double-hung sashes and glazing bars. At the east end, there is a single-storey brick extension with a tiled roof and a brick end stack. At the west end, a weather-boarded lean-to extension is present, which includes an attached conservatory.
