Description

This is a detached cottage, likely dating from the 18th century. The walls are rendered and the roof is thatched, with a hipped section at the south end. A brick stack is located at the north end. The cottage has two storeys. A 20th-century single-storeyed rear wing has a hipped tiled roof. 19th-century single-storey extensions with hipped thatched roofs have been added to each end. A ledged door is set within an open thatched porch. The ground and first floors each feature two casement windows with glazing bars. Inside, the main ground floor room has an open fireplace with a timber lintol, and some exposed ceiling beams. A cast iron pump stands in front of the house.
