Description

Nos 46 and 47 West Morden are a pair of cottages, probably from the 18th century, but built in two phases. They have brick walls and feature a dentil cornice at the eaves. The cottages have tiled roofs with brick stacks at the ends and in the center. They are two stories tall, with each house having a brick gabled porch that includes an elliptical arched opening and a ledged door. Each cottage contains two casement windows with glazing bars and segmental arches on both floors. There is evidence that the walls have been raised. To the east, there is an attached single-storey range with a hipped tiled roof and a central brick stack.
