Description

Phylcott is a detached cottage, likely built in the mid-19th century. It features brick walls arranged in Flemish bond with burnt headers and has a dentil cornice at the eaves. The roof is half-hipped and covered with slate, and there is a central brick chimney stack. The cottage is two storeys tall and has single-storey lean-to extensions with slate roofs at each end. The ground floor includes a part-glazed door and two casement windows with cast iron diamond lights. On the first floor, there are two similar casement windows and one timber casement window with glazing bars. This building is included for its group value.
