Description

No 45 is a detached cottage, probably from the 18th century. It has brick walls, a tiled roof, and a brick stack at one end. The building is two storeys high with a single-storey lean-to at the east end. The entrance is located in the west gable wall. On the main elevation, the ground floor features three casement windows with glazing bars, one of which has replaced the original door. The first floor has two horizontally sliding sash windows with glazing bars. Inside, the main ground floor room includes a large open fireplace with a timber lintel, which has been partially built up, and one chamfered ceiling beam.
