Description
No 33 is a cottage located on Coalport Road, dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It features timber framing in square panels, with rendered and painted brick infill, and has a 20th-century clay tile roof. There is a brick external stack against the east gable. The cottage has a two-unit plan and is one storey with an attic. The front wall includes a small 20th-century casement window cut through the middle rail of the framing, and a leaded two-light window towards the right. At the far right, there is a part-glazed door. There are 19th-century brick lean-tos on the left and right, each with boarded doors. The rear wall has two small one-light windows with horizontal glazing bars. Inside, the cottage features chamfered axial beams in the ground-floor ceilings and an oak-framed doorway leading to the central partition wall.
