Description

Karingal is a detached cottage, likely dating from the 17th century. It features brick walls, some of which are plastered, and a thatched roof with brick stacks at each end. The building is positioned at right angles to the road and consists of one storey with attics. The front wall has a buttress at the north end. A timber porch with a corrugated iron roof leads to a ledged door. On the ground floor, there are three casement windows with glazing bars, while the attic includes two and a half dormers with casements that have lead lights. Inside, both main ground floor rooms are equipped with large open fireplaces, and some ceiling beams are chamfered.
