Description

Kiln Cottage is a detached cottage that likely dates back to the 17th century. The walls are constructed from a mix of brick and plaster, and it features a hipped thatched roof with brick stacks along the ridge. The building has an L-shaped plan and consists of one storey with attics. There is a single-storey lean-to extension with a slate roof that projects from the front wing. The entrance includes a ledged door. On the ground floor, there is one casement window with glazing bars, while the attic has two dormers, each with similar casements. Inside, the ground floor showcases some deep chamfered ceiling beams.
