Description

Tall Tree Cottage is a detached cottage, likely built in the late 18th century. It features plastered walls and a thatched roof, with brick stacks at each end. The cottage is two storeys high and has single-storey lean-to extensions at the west end and at the rear, both covered with slate roofs. A colourwashed brick gabled porch with an oak ledged door adds to its charm. On both the ground and first floors, there are two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The interior of the cottage is largely unaltered and it may have originally served as a gamekeeper's cottage.
