Description

Forge Cottage is a detached cottage, likely built in the 18th century. It features plastered walls and a hipped thatched roof, with brick stacks located on the rear wall. The cottage has two storeys and includes a central brick porch that has a slate gabled roof and a round-arched doorway. Both the ground and first floors have two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. There is a later single-storey lean-to on the south end, which also has a thatched roof.
