Description

The stables at Holme Priory are a stable range located north of the house, dating from the 18th century and extended in the 19th century. The building features brick walls and a half-hipped tiled roof with stone eaves courses. It is a single-storey structure. The 18th-century section includes two large round-headed openings with timber doors, as well as two ledged doors with segmental arches. There are also two casement windows with glazing bars. The 19th-century section has a door with a segmental arch and later garage doors, along with three double-hung sash windows that also have glazing bars. Some old stable fittings are still present. The stables are included for their group value.
