Description

East Holme Cottages is a terrace of four cottages located in East Holme Village. The cottages are mainly from the early 19th century, although No. 1 appears to be of earlier origin. The walls are partly made of ironstone, with some sections rebuilt and extended in brick. The cottages have slate roofs and brick stacks, and they are two storeys high. Each cottage features a ledged door. No. 1 has two casement windows with glazing bars on both the ground and first floors. Nos 2, 3, and 4 have similar casement windows, but with cast iron sashes. The cottages are included for their group value.
