Description
Greenlands Cottages is a terrace of three cottages located on Arne Corfe Road, likely built in the early 19th century. The cottages feature plastered cob walls resting on a rubble stone base, with tiled roofs that are half hipped at the south end. There are brick stacks at both the ends and the center of the terrace. The cottages are two storeys high with attics.
No 57 has a ledged door beneath a flat hood supported by brackets. Both the ground and first floors have two double-hung sash windows with a central bar. The attic includes one hipped dormer fitted with horizontally sliding sashes that have glazing bars.
No 59 features a 20th-century part-glazed door under a similar hood. It also has two double-hung sash windows with a central bar on both the ground and first floors, and a hipped dormer in the attic with casement windows.
No 61 has a ledged door, with the same window arrangement as the other cottages: two double-hung sash windows with a central bar on both the ground and first floors, and a hipped dormer in the attic with casement windows that include glazing bars. At the rear, there is a single-storey lean-to with catslide roofs.
